Hyperbaric oxygen therapy increases the amount of Oxygen to the body using increased pressure from within an enclosed chamber.
This pressure compresses a gas (Oxygen) into a liquid (Blood Plasma) where it is transported directly to the tissues that are deficient of Oxygen.
This process of diffusing gas into a liquid under pressure allows more Oxygen to be absorbed than normal which speeds up the healing process.
With repeated scheduled treatments, the high oxygen levels encourage normal tissue oxygen levels, even after the therapy is completed.
